Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- The Youth and Students Solidarity for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration of south Korea on July 10 made public immediate action slogans calling for turning out in the struggle to force traitor Lee Myung Bak to step down. The slogans demanded war maniac Lee step down as he has been engrossed in inciting confrontation with fellow countrymen through the "full participation" in the PSI in collusion with the U.S. and Japan and has stepped up the moves for a nuclear war while begging the U.S. to provide "a nuclear umbrella" to south Korea. The slogans called for bringing down Lee's anti-reunification "government" which totally denied the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and bringing to light his plot to close the Kaesong Industrial Zone and his anti-reunification nature. The slogans stressed the need to bring the Lee "government" to collapse as it drives people to death through fascist dictatorship while fanning up an atmosphere for a nuclear war of aggression against the DPRK and inciting confrontation with fellow countrymen. To force Lee to step down is the only way out, the slogans said, calling upon all the people to bring earlier an independent and democratic society through the unity of all the people. The preparatory committee of the students committee of the youth and students solidarity released an appeal on July 9 calling on the youth and students to turn out in popular resistance against Lee Myung Bak and dictatorship with extraordinary determination. Referring to the fierce struggle now underway across south Korea to eliminate Lee Myung Bak dictatorial forces which go against the people's mindset, the appeal asserted the need to throw overboard the dictatorial forces through mass resistance under the uplifted banner of the struggle against Lee Myung Bak and dictatorship. |
