Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- Murata, former vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, in a recent press interview, disclosed that there was a secret accord in which the Japanese government promised to connive at the port call of the U.S. forces' warship carrying nuclear weapons and passage through its territorial waters during the revision of the "Japan-U.S security pact" in 1960. Nevertheless, the Japanese reactionary ruling quarters asserted that they don't think this would be "any shock to other countries" and "Japan remains unchanged in its stand on 'denuclearization'". Japanese diplomat Yukiya Amano elected general director of the International Atomic Energy Agency in a recent press interview talked nonsense that "Japan has made utmost efforts in the field of the nuclear non-proliferation in the post war period. Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a signed commentary in this regard: The denuclearization touted by the Japanese reactionaries is no more than a camouflaged peace artifice and a nuclear hide-and-seek. Citing facts to prove that Japan has long pursued the development of nuclear weapons, the commentary goes on: The Japanese reactionaries are, however, labeling others "nuclear criminals" like a thief crying "Stop the thief!" Japan has so many flaws as far as the nuclear issue is concerned but is behaving as if it were "an international nuclear judge." This is a deception and mockery of the international community. With nothing can Japan cover up its true colors as a militarist and its nuclear ambition. The Japanese reactionaries would be well advised to stop playing a clumsy farce and do away with its blemished conscience and ambition to emerge a nuclear power. |
