A seminar on "Economic Crisis and Investing in Women" was held in the Grand People's Study House on July 13.

It introduced successes and experiences in the efforts for improving better the reproductive health of women and ensuring fully their social position and role and discussed the future action programme in the DPRK.

Meanwhile, mass media strengthened the propaganda to respect the women in society and to conduct the brisk activities for reproductive health of women under the titles "World Population Day and Women" and "Women and Population Problem".

The Population Centre issued a special number "Population Information".
