Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Catholic Priests' Association for Justice issued a statement on July 16 demanding the Lee Myung Bak group make an apology for the Ryongsan tragedy and punish the prime mover of the murder of evacuees.
The statement said: It is half a year since evacuees in Ryongsan were killed owing to the brutal outrage of the Lee group but the authorities have so far paid no heed even to the minimum demand of the bereaved families.
The prosecution and the police are working hard to cover up the truth behind tragedy in Ryongsan at any cost, still refusing to open to the public the records of the investigation into the Ryongsan tragedy.
Such inhuman attitude of the Lee regime goes to prove once again the cause of man-killing.
If the authorities' brutal murder is tolerated, this will cause more social misfortunes of all hues to occur, it noted, declaring that the organization will carry on the struggle till the Ryongsan tragedy is properly settled.
