Japan's Theory of "Preemptive Attack" Blasted

Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries do not bother to let loose reckless remarks advocating the theory of "preemptive attack." They betray the true colors of the militarists who regard a war for overseas expansion as a means for existence and their wild ambition to exact revenge for a shameful defeat Japan suffered in the war of continental aggression in the first half of the last century.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says this in a signed article.

This reveals the Japanese reactionaries' dangerous scenario to ignite a war of aggression through a preemptive attack on the basis of the completed military preparations for reinvasion, the article notes, and goes on:

Their much publicized theory of "preemptive attack" is little short of an official declaration that they have embarked upon the road of aggression.

The above-said theory is sparking off a new arms race in Asia.

Their moves are a blatant challenge to the desire of humankind for peace and its historic onward movement as they are rushing headlong into aggression and war, swimming against the trend of the times towards peace. The theory is stripping bare the nature of the Japanese militarists as aggressors, increasing the danger of war in Asia.

Their theory of "preemptive attack" amounts to outbursts calling for a war and aggression against the DPRK.

They seek to start aggression against the DPRK through preemptive attacks on its strategic bases under the pretext of "security of Japan," raising a hue and cry over the non-existent "military threat" from the DPRK.

Aggression and war would bring Japan nothing but shame and destruction. The Japanese militarist forces would be well advised to drop their adventurous scenario for preemptive attack, concludes the article.
