Rashed Khan Menon, chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, said at a remembrance meeting that Kim Il Sung was a prominent leader recognized by the whole world. The President's revolutionary cause has been successfully carried forward and developed under the Songun leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il, he noted.

Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, in the lecture praised Kim Il Sung as the great leader who founded the immortal Juche idea and guided the Korean revolution to victory. The progressive humankind will always remember the feats performed by him for global socialism and independence against imperialism, he said.

Guy Dupre, vice-president of the France-Korea Friendship Association, said at a remembrance meeting that Kim Il Sung was the greatest man with immeasurably noble virtues and personality.

Jean Marie Lambret, chief of the French Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, said at a seminar that it is Kim Il Sung who provided the historical roots of the Songun politics and that his immortal feats will remain long with the century.

Korean films including "For the Liberation of the Country" were shown at the film shows.

A message to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the seminar held in France.
