The house of class education which was opened in May Juche 93 (2004) is a place exposing to the whole world the genocide committed by the U.S. imperialists at a time of the temporary strategic retreat of the Korean People's Army during the Fatherland Liberation War.

The U.S. aggressors occupied Kangso County on October 20, 1950 and organized reactionary organizations such as the "Kangso County peace maintenance corps", "Kangso County police force" and "anti-communist national salvation society" with reactionaries who had hidden themselves and forced them to slay people.

While occupying the county for 46 days, the U.S. imperialists perpetrated unheard-of murderous atrocities of killing more than 11,600 people, drenching the area with blood. In particular, they slaughtered at least 1,050 inhabitants, or one third of the population of the then Susan-myon in the most cold-blooded way.

Relics disclosing the horrible atrocities committed by the enemies in the Susan-ri area are being discovered one after another.

Hundreds of thousands of people have visited the house since its opening.
