U.S. and Its Followers Urged to Halt Their Hostile Acts against DPRK
Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- All the members of the Vanguard Party of Indonesia strongly demand the U.S. and its followers stop at once their hostile acts against the DPRK in order to ensure peace on the Korean Peninsula.

Ristiyanto, secretary general of the National Guidance Council of the party, urged this in a statement issued on July 14 in the run-up to the 56th anniversary of the victorious great Fatherland Liberation War in Korea.

The statement went on:

More than half a century has passed since the Korean War ceased, but peace has not yet settled on the peninsula and the situation remains tense there due to the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK.

The Korean people were compelled to steadily bolster the capability for self-defence to protect the sovereignty of the country from the nuclear threat of the U.S. The nuclear issue in the peninsula is, in essence, a product of the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK.

It was none other than the U.S. that compelled the DPRK to have access to nuclear weapons and instigated the UN Security Council to adopt the "resolution on sanctions" to stifle the DPRK, the statement noted, and continued:

It is preposterous for the U.S. to claim that the satellite launch by the DPRK only was a violation of international law while being free to launch satellites.

That was why the DPRK categorically turned down the UNSC "resolution on sanctions," terming it a product of the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK.

All the members of the Vanguard Party of Indonesia express full support and solidarity with the DPRK in its just stand and measures to defend its sovereignty.
