The appeal said the prevailing situation calls upon all the people on this land to turn out in the all-out confrontation with the fascist dictatorship.

As long as brazen-faced Lee stays in power, the south Korean society will remain a tundra of democracy, a theater of confrontation and war and a society for big businessmen, it said, calling upon all the people to launch a struggle under the same slogan demanding Lee step down.

All the people, regardless of whether they are workers and farmers struggling to protect the right to existence, professors and scholars of conscience, those from all walks of life waging the movement to issue declarations on the situation and justice-loving brave youth and students, should turn out in the struggle to force Lee to step down in order to fulfil their historic responsibility, the appeal urged.

It called for building a new society, independent, democratic and reunified, through an all-out struggle to force Lee to step down.
