The above-said consciousness serves as a source of strength that reinforces the will of everybody to devotedly implement the militant tasks given by the Workers' Party of Korea under any circumstances. It also serves as an ideological and moral factor of making a clean sweep of everything outdated and backward standing in the way of advance and firmly adhering to the revolutionary principle, the socialist principle. It, at the same time, serves as a spiritual motive force for making a greater leap forward and advancing faster with strong national self-esteem.

The more than decade during which the DPRK has advanced under the banner of Songun clearly proves what tremendous strength the people having the above-said class consciousness have displayed in the course of upholding the idea and will of their great leader.

The Korean people have stronger working class consciousness than any other people. Had they lacked that consciousness, they would not have remained true to their revolutionary principle and faith in the worst adversity nor would have brought about the present stirring reality of socialism whose dignity is glorified thanks to Songun.

As shown by the Korean people's history of building a rich and powerful country, the might of socialism finds its expression, above all, in the strong mental power of the servicepersons and people of the DPRK and their high degree of working class consciousness.

It is the exceptional revolutionary resolution and patriotic zeal of the Korean people in the Songun era to perform miracles and heroic feats in the 150-day campaign and thus make this year an eventful year to be specially recorded in the history of the WPK, concludes the article.
