Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the C.C., the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, at a meeting said that Kim Il Sung led the anti-Japanese armed struggle and the Fatherland Liberation War to victory, liberating the country and defending the dignity and sovereignty of the nation. The President turned the DPRK into an invincible socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence, the speaker added.

Songchit Pullarp, chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand, at a remembrance meeting referred to the fact that Kim Il Sung devoted his all to the freedom and happiness of the people and the prosperity of the country.

Nzemba Yangana, chairman of the Youth Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in Democratic Congo, in a lecture noted that Kim Il Sung shared weal and woe with the people, regarding it as his maxim to believe in people as in Heaven and always finding himself among them. His whole life was dedicated to the people only, he stressed.

Messages to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the functions held in Thailand and Democratic Congo.
