It was appreciated by senior party, army and state officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, leading officials of party, armed forces and power organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, heroes, war veterans, servicepersons of the KPA, officials in the fields of science, education, culture and arts, public health and media, those who performed exploits during the wartime, families of the People's Army servicemen, working people in Pyongyang, the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front and overseas compatriots.

The performance started with tap-dance "Holiday Celebrating Victory." Its repertoire included dance "My Heavy Machine Gun", male chorus "Song of National Defence", trumpet trio and mixed chorus "For My Only Motherland."

The performers truthfully represented the greatness of President Kim Il Sung who humbled the arrogant U.S. imperialists with his outstanding strategy and tactics and matchless pluck and demonstrated the stamina and dignity of heroic Korea to the whole world and the fighting spirit of the soldiers of the KPA who devotedly defended the freedom and independence of the country.

Also put on the stage were male tenor quartette "O My Country of Songun", guitar quartette ensemble "Soldier on March," mixed chorus "Let's Uphold Our Supreme Commander with Arms" and other numbers. These numbers impressively dealt with the immortal exploits of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il and the high spirit of the KPA protecting the Party and the leader and the socialist cause with arms.
