It was attended by officials concerned and coaches of sports teams and rhythmic gymnastic experts in Pyongyang.

The course, given by Tamara Bompa (Canadian), an A-grade judge of rhythmic gymnastics of the International Gymnastics Federation, was held, divided into theoretical and practical ones.

The theoretical course dealt with newly changed rules and other matters that rhythmic gymnastics judges must know.

The practical course was conducted in such a way as cementing with the help of video tapes what the participants had learnt in the theoretical one.

A qualification test for international judges was also held during the course.
