It goes on: From the outset of its office the group of traitors brutally suppressed the progressive organizations and people who supported the inter-Korean joint declarations and worked hard to implement them, after branding them as "enemy-benefiting organizations" and "pro-north left-wing forces". Entering this year, this group has become wilder like wolves about to prey upon small animals.

The South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration and the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification sponsored events on the 9th anniversary of the publication of the historic north-south joint declaration. This deserves praise far from being a crime as it reflects the aspiration and wishes of the south Korean people for independent reunification.

What should not be overlooked is the fact that the Lee group is getting evermore undisguised in its fascist suppression of the pro-reunification patriotic forces, vociferating about someone's "sparking off south-south conflict". The true aim sought by it through the said campaign is to justify its fascist terrorism by linking it with the north.

The contradiction and conflict between the patriotic and traitorous forces, between progressive and conservative forces and between the working masses and the privileged circle which the group describes as "south-south conflict" in south Korea are festering as the days go by due to the traitorous politics and fascist actions of the group against people.

Nevertheless, the Lee group is misleading the public opinion by spreading misinformation that the "south-south conflict" is fostered by someone. This is preposterous, indeed.

The Lee group would be well advised to halt the fascist suppression of compatriots at once, bearing deep in mind that it would only precipitate its own destruction.
