The statement accused the U.S. of deploying all types of weapons including nukes in south Korea in wanton violation of the provisions of the Armistice Agreement (AA) soon after its conclusion on July 27, 1953, harassing peace on the Korean Peninsula and reducing the agreement to a dead document.

The Lee Myung Bak "government", too, is fully participating in the PSI and shipping all types of war hardware into south Korea in gross violation of international law and the AA, increasing the danger of war, the statement charged.

The reality today requires everybody that stands for peace to expose and blast the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK and turn out in the struggle to bring down the Lee regime keen on war preparations, the statement pointed out, urging the need to kick off actions to force the U.S. to roll back its hostile policy toward the DPRK and a struggle against the U.S. and war.

The solidarity will wage a more dynamic struggle against the U.S. and war and for the resignation of Lee Myung Bak in order to ensure peace on the Korean Peninsula, the statement declared.
