Pyongyang, July 31 (KCNA) -- The federal leadership of the Left Bloc of the Austrian Trade Union Federation thrust a letter to the south Korean puppet embassy in Austria on July 15 in protest against the Lee Myung Bak group's suppression of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon).
Strongly protesting against the Lee group's arrest of three leading members of the South Headquarters of Pomminryon including its chairman, the letter demanded an immediate release of pro-reunification patriotic figures.
Recalling that they were put into custody by the puppet clique for staging patriotic actions for the reunification of the country on the basis of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration, the letter urged the south Korean authorities to stop suppression of the pro-reunification patriotic forces.
