Yang Yong Dong, chairman of the General Association of Koreans in China, in a report highly praised Generalissimo Kim Il Sung for leading the war to victory, firmly defending the freedom and independence of the country and bringing about the beginning of decline for the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being "the strongest" in the world for the first time in history.

He said that General Secretary Kim Jong Il, who is identical to Kim Il Sung, has reliably defended the security of the country with his original Songun politics and cemented the DPRK to be an impregnable fortress of socialism.

Under the leadership of Kim Jong Il, the Korean nation will always emerge victorious in the confrontation with the U.S., he said, calling upon the association and the Koreans in China to unite broad strata of compatriots close around the organization true to the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il and dynamically carry on the pro-reunification patriotic movement.

A letter to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the meeting.

Cha Sang Bo, vice-chairman of the association, released a statement titled "Immortal feats of Generalissimo Kim Il Sung will always remain shining under the great brilliant commander of Songun" on the occasion on the same day.
