Korean People's Just Cause Supported
Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- Bangladeshi and Italian figures separately issued statements on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

Kamal Hyder, secretary general of the Bangladesh Peace Council, in a statement on July 16 bitterly denounced the U.S. for staging madcap war exercises targeted against the DPRK, keeping tens of thousands of troops in south Korea.

He called upon the peace-loving people of the world to turn out in a vigorous struggle to foil all sorts of intervention and provocation of the U.S. in order to preserve peace on the Korean Peninsula and fully supported the just cause of the DPRK.

The international secretary of the Struggle for the Peace and Socialism of Italy in a statement on July 18 condemned the U.S. for threatening the DPRK militarily and aggravating the situation on the Korean Peninsula, instead of drawing lesson from its defeat in the last Korean War.

Noting that the U.S. moves to stifle the DPRK are proving futile in face of the Songun politics enforced by Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, and the strong single-minded unity of the Korean people around their leader, he expressed conviction that the Korean people's cause of building a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation is sure to triumph thanks to the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il.

He underscored the need for the political parties and peoples struggling for independence and progress to extend positive support to the Korean people who have made a great contribution to the global independence.
