Due to the Lee Myung Bak group's vicious fascist offensive, such tragic situation continues in south Korea as that the righteous people aspiring after the national reconciliation and unity and the reunification through alliance with the north have been cracked down as "enemy-benefiting elements," "leftist forces" and "reds."

For the progressive forces of south Korea to steadily advance along the patriotic road of alliance with the north, it is necessary to give full play to the spirit of "By our nation itself" in the national reunification movement.

The desire for reunification through alliance with the north should be fully demonstrated in the actions for defending, supporting and implementing the inter-Korean joint declarations.
