Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea released a joint statement on July 27 to mark the 56th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
The statement said that the Fatherland Liberation War conducted by the Korean people was a war of justice against the U.S. imperialists and for the national liberation and the class emancipation and it proved that the way for defeating imperialism is to fight with arms and nobody should have any slightest illusion about imperialism.
It stressed that the victory won by the DPRK in the war was attributable to the distinguished military stratagem and Juche-based tactics of President Kim Il Sung and the Korean people's heroic spirit of self-sacrifice.
It expressed belief that if the U.S. imperialists recklessly provoke a war again in the Korean Peninsula, the Korean people led by General Secretary Kim Jong Il would surely beat them down and achieve the country's reunification.
