Carried in the bulletin was a picture of President Kim Il Sung.

The bulletin in an article noted that the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces started their armed invasion of the DPRK without declaration of war on June 25, 1950, but the Korean People's Army went over to the decisive counteroffensive under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, liberating vast areas of the southern half of Korea.

The bulletin cited data to prove that the U.S. imperialists amassed the imperialist allied forces and huge war supplies to the Korean War by usurping the name of the United Nations, turned cities and villages into the ruins with indiscriminate bombing and shelling and inflicted all sorts of misfortune and sufferings on the Korean people and even attempted to use atomic bombs in the war.

However, the U.S. imperialists could not but sign the Korean Armistice Agreement on July 27, 1953, by the heroic struggle of the army and people of the DPRK, it said.

The bulletin stressed that the DPRK has developed into a prosperous country where the people enjoy their independent rights to the full and a socialist power based on the Juche idea by repelling foreign forces' pressure under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.
