Rodong Sinmun Monday observes this in a signed article.

It goes on:

South Korea is the most unpopular society in which a handful of ruling forces are blocking progress and reforms of society and obstructing its independent development, trampling down upon the will and interests of the absolute majority of the popular masses.

The contradiction and conflict in the south Korean society are a clear manifestation of the structural contradiction of the corrupt and ailing south Korean society. They have further festered since the appearance of the pro-U.S. and conservative Lee regime.

S. Korea is ridden with all social evils; the gap between the rich and the poor, the chronic ailment of the south Korean society, is widening as the days go by due to the unpopular rule of the Lee group and the suicide rate has topped the world's list.

The contradiction and conflict in the south Korean society are, at the same time, a product of the Lee group's treacherous policy of confrontation with fellow countrymen.

The Lee regime has worked hard to provoke a war against the north while pushing the landmark successes made in the efforts to improve the inter-Korean relations to naught and bringing back the relations back to those in the era of confrontation. It is quite natural that its undisguised confrontation with compatriots and anti-reunification acts are sparking off bitter resentment, protest and denunciation among people from all walks of life in south Korea including the progressive forces who realized the vitality of the June 15 era of reunification in their life experience.

With no rhetoric can traitor Lee cover up its true colors as the chief criminal who caused serious political contradiction and conflict in the south Korean society or evade its responsibility for the crime.
