Displayed in the venue of the photo exhibition were photos on the Songun leadership exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and photos introducing the Korean people in the struggle for national reunification.

Appreciated at the film shows were Korean films "Arms of Korea" and "Reply of Korea".

Speeches were made at the events.

Yehia Zakaria Khairullah, chairman of the Egyptian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said: Through the film we came to know well that it is thanks to the Songun politics of Kim Jong Il that the DPRK could have access to the powerful war deterrent and the Korean People's Army has grown to be an invincible army.

A deputy director general of the General Bureau of Radio and TV of the Myanmar Ministry of Information noted that the KPA has grown to be an invincible army while reliably defending the sovereignty and dignity of the country under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il. And he expressed belief that under the tested leadership of Kim Jong Il, the Korean people would build a great prosperous and powerful nation in the near future.

A department director of the general bureau stressed that the secret of all victories is the might of the single-minded unity of the Korean people rallied around Kim Jong Il and the powerful national defence capability is the symbol of the DPRK and the basic guarantee for its prosperity.
