Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- With no rhetoric can the Lee Myung Bak group evade the responsibility for having brought to collapse the inter-Korean relations which had favorably developed in the spirit of "By our nation itself" and escalated the confrontation with fellow countrymen. Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes this in a signed article. The article cites facts to prove that the inter-Korean relations have been bedeviled and the confrontation and tension have escalated on the Korean Peninsula day by day due to the Lee group disregarding the principle of national independence and the spirit of "By our nation itself." The article goes on: The south Korean conservative ruling forces bereft of even an iota of consciousness of independence malignantly defiled the principle of national independence, describing it as "a product of the north's strategy for communizing the south." They have made desperate efforts to boost the cooperation with the U.S. in denial of national cooperation, calling for "priority to the relations" between south Korea and the U.S. The puppet ruling authorities have brought to naught all the successes achieved in the June 15 era of reunification in the spirit of "By our nation itself," pushing the inter-Korean relations back to those in the past era of confrontation. The above-said acts of the south Korean conservative ruling forces are encouraging outside forces in their interference in the internal affairs of the nation and laying grave difficulties and hurdles in the way of the Korean people's struggle for independent reunification, peace and prosperity. All the Koreans are called upon to foil the evermore undisguised moves of the south Korean authorities to bedevil the inter-Korean relations and intensify the nationwide struggle to achieve independent reunification, peace and prosperity. |
