I am happy to participate in the work to form the international preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung who performed undying exploits for global independence, he said in his statement, adding:

Kim Il Sung is the greatest man who fathered the immortal Juche idea, the guiding idea in the era of independence, turned Korea formerly suffering from centuries-old backwardness and poverty into a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence and made undying contributions to the peace and security of Asia and the rest of the world.

The revolutionary cause of the President is being successfully carried forward thanks to the original Songun politics of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

After inaugurating the Egyptian preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of the President the committee will conduct colorful activities with the preparatory committees of the friendly and peace-loving countries and take an active part in the work for erecting statues of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu.

Referring to the need for widely conducting the work of publishing, studying and disseminating the works of the President and Kim Jong Il and publishing books praising the exploits of the peerlessly great persons and other colorful political and cultural events, he stressed that he will fully support the just cause of the Korean people.
