Pyongyang, August 14 (KCNA) -- Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, met and had a friendly talk with the delegation of the All-China Women's Federation headed by its Vice-President Zhen Yan at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Friday.
The head of the delegation said that the traditional Sino-DPRK friendship provided by revolutionaries of the elder generation is growing stronger under the deep care of General Secretary Hu Jintao and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
She said that it was an event to be specially recorded in the history of the development of the Sino-DPRK friendly relations that Kim Jong Il appreciated opera "The Dream of the Red Chamber" and drama "A Sentry under a Neon Lamp".
She expressed belief that the exchange and cooperation between the two countries would become more brisk in various fields.
She expressed the conviction that under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il the Korean people would open the gate to a thriving nation in 2012, the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung, by intensifying the drive for bringing about a great revolutionary surge.
