The statement said:

The maneuvers for a nuclear war projected by the U.S. imperialists and the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors are by no means a demonstration of military muscle of defensive nature as they are not aimed at coping with someone's "threat" and defending the "security" on the Korean Peninsula.

To insist that the military exercises are of "defensive" nature is nothing but sheer sophism. This story may fool those imbeciles who know nothing about politics and military affairs or naive children who have just started learning the four rules of arithmetic.

Through these nuclear war exercises the American master and his servant seek to openly call for escalating their "sanctions" and "pressure" upon the DPRK and put them into practice. They are maneuvers for a war of aggression against the DPRK to all intents and purposes.

It is ridiculous for the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors to contemplate acting a shock force in the projected nuclear war exercises and become more zealous in the confrontation with fellow countrymen though it is not in a position to properly exercise the prerogative of the supreme command over the army, to say nothing of political sovereignty.

The U.S. imperialists and the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors would be well advised to ponder over what consequences their reckless acts would entail in the future.

Traitor Lee Myung Bak, a poor stooge, intends to offer dear sons of the nation as bullet shields for aggressor forces, pursuant to the sinister scenario of his master to dominate the world at the sacrifice of others, without letting his soldiers shed blood. For this crime Lee will be cursed and denounced by the nation for all ages.

Availing ourselves of this opportunity, we re-clarify the stand of the KPA on the above-said nuclear war exercises.

Should the U.S. imperialists and the Lee Myung Bak group threaten the DPRK with nukes, it will retaliate against them with nukes. If they threaten the DPRK with missiles, it will react to them with missiles. If they tighten "sanctions" and push "confrontation" to an extreme phase, the DPRK will react to them with merciless retaliation of its own style and an all-out war of justice.

The U.S. imperialists and the Lee Myung Bak group should clearly understand that it is the iron will and resolute stand of the KPA to go into action anytime to mercilessly wipe out the aggressors and this is by no means an empty word.
