Noting that the joint military exercises are aimed at invading the DPRK in the light of its contents and scale, the statement added they brought to light the sinister aim lurking behind the signboard of "ensuring peace" and "dialogue" put up by the U.S. imperialists and the puppet group of traitors recently.

These provocative and dangerous military exercises can neither be justified nor can they go with dialogue as they are a basic factor of disturbing the peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Asia, the statement said, and went on:

All facts once again clearly prove that the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean warmongers are the arch criminals disturbing the peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

We vehemently condemn the above-said joint military exercises as renewed provocative acts against the DPRK and strongly demand they cancel the projected joint war maneuvers at once.

If the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean bellicose forces desire peace and detente on the peninsula, they should stop without delay all the military exercises in south Korea and its vicinity.
