The statement said:

The U.S. and the south Korean puppet warmongers claimed that the war maneuvers are "ordinary drills for defence" and they "do not involve field mobile exercises" but this is nothing but sheer sophism intended to cover up the aggressive nature and the ulterior aim sought by them through this saber rattling.

The north-targeted large-scale war maneuvers kicked off by the U.S. and the south Korean puppets are absolutely intolerable as they were prompted by a dangerous scenario to provide a military backing to their persistent campaign for "sanctions" on the DPRK.

Moreover, the Lee Myung Bak group is persistently playing the role of a shock brigade in implementing its master's reckless policy of aggression towards the DPRK instead of drawing a lesson from its confrontation with Pyongyang, a policy that brought the inter-Korean relations to collapse. This behavior of the group only betrayed its ulterior design not to improve the inter-Korean relations.

The reality clearly indicates that "sincere dialogue" and "cooperation" on the lips of the Lee group are nothing but crafty chicanery intended to mislead the public in south Korea and evade the responsibility for having bedeviled the inter-Korean relations.

The hostile relations on the Korean Peninsula can never be mended unless a definite end is put to the U.S. extremely hostile policy towards the DPRK and the confrontation with the DPRK pursued by the south Korean conservative authorities, its stooges, noted the statement.
