Noting that such colorful events as seminar on works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, film show and photo exhibition were held in the Arab region in the month of international solidarity with the Korean people, the statement said: This showed that the Arab and Korean peoples are struggling in close unity to defend freedom, justice and sovereignty from the imperialist allied forces' moves against mankind.

The DPRK has strikingly demonstrated the unity and cohesion of the Korean people closely rallied around the leadership with its world-startling indomitable will and mental power and reliably defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country and the nation with its self-reliant defence capability in the face of the imperialist forces' insolent moves, thus giving confidence to the world progressives, the statement said, and went on:

Being firmly convinced that the DPRK will defeat the imperialist forces violating the justice of humankind, we pay our best regards to the DPRK leadership.
