Speakers at the meeting condemned Japan for working hard to cover up the crimes it committed against the Korean people in the past and getting evermore undisguised in the moves to revive militarism.

They also denounced the Lee Myung Bak "government" for persisting in the confrontation with fellow countrymen while totally denying the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration. If the authorities do not opt for the reconciliation between the south and the north and national reunification, they will face stronger resistance of the people, they warned.

In a resolution the organization strongly demanded that Japan give up its scheme for revival of militarism and make an apology and reparation for the sexual slavery crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists in the past and that the Lee Myung Bak "government" sincerely implement the inter-Korean declarations and drop its policy of confrontation with the DPRK.
