The United States and the south Korean puppet authorities launched the joint military exercises, Ulji Freedom Guardian, in the whole of south Korea again, aggravating the situation.

Lurking behind them is a dangerous scheme for aggression to mount a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK and to conquer it anytime when an opportunity presents itself under the pretext of coping with an event of contingency in the Korean Peninsula.

The joint military exercises are staged no more than two months after the U.S. promised to offer "extended deterrence" to south Korea, and the period of the current exercises doubled that of last year.

The U.S. is so foolish as to try to stifle the ideology and system of the DPRK by force of arms.

The developments go to prove that the DPRK's decision to take one step after another for bolstering up its self-defensive deterrent was a right option in every aspect.

The DPRK will closely follow every movement of the U.S. and the south Korean authorities and adopt a tough measure against any provocation.
