Ro Yong Jin, vice-chairman of the confederation, said in his report at the function for commemorating the 49th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of Songun revolutionary leadership that he started his Songun revolutionary leadership at the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Guards Tank Division of the Korean People's Army on August 25, 1960, providing a sure guarantee for carrying forward the history and tradition of the revolutionary cause of Songun in the DPRK generation after generation.

Recalling that Kim Jong Il clarified the unique principle of Songun that the army precisely means the party, the state and the people, adopting the Songun politics as a main political mode under socialism, he stressed: Under the outstanding Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il socialist Korea has steadily advanced along the road of victory.

Pak Myong San, vice-chairman of the confederation, said in his report delivered on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of liberation of Korea that President Kim Il Sung, founder of socialist Korea, led the great anti-Japanese war to victory, achieving the liberation of Korea.

Thanks to the wise Songun politics of Kim Jong Il the DPRK has demonstrated its might as a powerful bulwark of peace and progress, which nobody can provoke, he emphasized.
