Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance of Youth and Students for Korea's Reunification held a meeting in Seoul on August 15, declaring that the youth and students will stand in the van of the struggle to force the "government" of traitors to step down.
Speakers at the meeting noted that the organization has waged on a full scale the struggle to defend the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and achieve independence, democracy and reunification despite the vicious repression by the Lee Myung Bak "government."
They stated that they would concentrate efforts on turning into an all-people movement the struggle to overthrow the Lee "government" which is engaged in stifling democracy and pursuing the fascist dictatorial rule.
A resolution on the struggle for peace against the U.S. and war and for resignation of Lee Myung Bak was adopted at the meeting. It is high time that the people broke with the Lee "government" which bedeviled the inter-Korean relations with flunkeyist and treacherous policy for confrontation with fellow countrymen, the resolution said, declaring that the youth and students would never pardon the group of traitors.
To sincerely implement the inter-Korean declarations is the only way for defending the sovereignty and dignity of the nation and achieving peace and reunification, it stressed.
