Commenting on this, news analyst of Minju Joson Thursday says:

The war exercises kicked off by the U.S. and the south Korean conservative authorities are a blatant challenge to the Korean nation and the peace-loving people of the world. This goes to prove that their scenario to seize the DPRK through surprise preemptive attack has reached a very grave phase.

This also clearly shows once again that "sincere dialogue" and "cooperation" touted by them are nothing but crafty chicanery to mislead the south Korean public and evade their responsibility for having bedeviled the inter-Korean relations.

It is a daydream for the U.S. and the Lee group to attack the DPRK by force of arms.

It is the traits of the army and people of the DPRK to retaliate against the aggressors' provocation with a thousand-fold punishment, the commentary notes, warning:

Should the warmongers at home and abroad make any provocation in the sky, land and seas, they will face decisive and merciless blows.
