The revolutionary idea plays a decisive role in prompting the popular masses to frustrate the imperialists' anti-socialist moves and defend socialism to the last.

It is nonsensical for anyone to claim he stands for protecting socialism without knowing what vicious forces the imperialists are and what their anti-socialist moves are.

Only when one has revolutionary idea, can one clearly see through the black-hearted ambition of the imperialists to eliminate socialism, the ideal and future of humankind, from the surface of the earth once and for all, their aggressive nature and anti-socialist moves.

The revolutionary idea serves as an engine motivating the popular masses to turn out as one in the vigorous struggle to frustrate the anti-socialist moves of the imperialists.

Socialism in some countries collapsed too easily, overpowered by the imperialists' despicable anti-socialist offensives. This happened because those countries neglected the ideological work to arm the popular masses with the revolutionary idea and allowed bourgeois idea to find its ways to them.

The army and people given revolutionary education and equipped with firm faith through the ideological work are capable of clearly seeing through the imperialists' whole gamut of anti-socialist moves and mercilessly foiling them.

No matter how desperately the imperialist forces may work to launch a nuclear war, such type of army and people are not afraid of it even in the least but fight against them to a bitter end with staunch spirit and pluck. This is the experience and truth learned by the army and people in the DPRK in their revolutionary practice.
