Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA) -- The Ehime Prefectural Preparatory Committee of Japan was inaugurated on August 5 to commemorate the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung.
Nada Takashi, representative of the Ehime Institute for Contemporary Korean Issue in Japan, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.
The preparatory committee decided to organize such colorful political and cultural events as lecture and photo exhibition praising the President's immortal exploits for the human cause of independence and publish books on the Songun leadership exploits of General Secretary Kim Jong Il until April of 2012.
