The statement noted that the nuclear war exercises kicked off by the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppets despite the unanimous public rebuff and denunciation at home and abroad are exercises for a war of aggression against the DPRK to all intents and purposes and an intolerable challenge to all the fellow countrymen desirous of the peace and reunification of the country.

The statement held that the joint military exercises targeted against the DPRK and the arms build-up should be halted unconditionally as they vitiate the atmosphere of dialogue and peace and increase the danger of a war.

The association and all Koreans in China are strongly opposed to the racket of military confrontation kicked up by the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean warmongers to block the development of the north-south relations and disturb peace on the Korean Peninsula and hamstring the efforts to achieve the prosperity of the nation while threatening the existence of the nation, the statement noted, adding they would fight to the last to eliminate from the arena of history those keen to do harm to fellow countrymen by force of arms in collusion with foreign forces.
