The film makes a historic depiction of the immortal exploits President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il performed by developing the People's Army into an invincible revolutionary army of Mt. Paektu and boosting the defence capability of the country in every way, being together on the way of Songun leadership for several decades.

It has scenes showing the President making sure that a revolutionary commanding system of
Kim Jong Il was established throughout the army and providing an eternal foundation for carrying forward the cause of the Songun revolution.

It also shows Kim Jong Il bringing about a great turn in the building of armed forces and national defence, faithfully carrying forward the President's idea and line of attaching importance to the army and military affairs since he started his Songun revolutionary leadership by visiting the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Guards Tank Division of the Korean People's Army on August 25, Juche 49 (1960).

Among the audience were senior party and state officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions and working people in Pyongyang.
