Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, said that the start of Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership was an event of weighty significance in the history of the Korean revolution.

Thanks to his Songun leadership, the DPRK will always advance only along the road of victory as the indestructible socialist fortress, he stressed.

Ramon Jimenez Lopez, president of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism, noted that Kim Jong Il started the Songun leadership with his historic on-site guidance to the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Guards Tank Division of the Korean People's Army on August 25, 1960. This was the starting point of the work to consolidate the foundation of the Songun politics for defending and carrying forward the Songun idea and cause of President Kim Il Sung, he added.

Recalling that Kim Jong Il has trained the KPA to be an invincible army reliably defending the socialist country in any situation and circumstances, he stressed: Under his Songun leadership, the Korean people will surely open the gate to a great prosperous and powerful nation in 2012.

The speakers at the seminar explained in a profound way the essence and validity of the Songun idea and its great vitality with the stirring events taking place in the DPRK.
