The bulletin titled "Songun Politics Is Example of Independent Politics" said that socialist Korea regards independence of the country and the nation as its life and soul and resolutely defends it as it is guided by the Juche idea.

It went on to say:

The Songun politics, which has been applied in the DPRK and won the great sympathy from the world progressive people, is the most just socialist mode of politics that makes it possible to realize independence of the popular masses and achieve prosperity and development by their own efforts.

The vitality of the Songun politics has been fully displayed through the reality of the DPRK.

Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, has developed and enriched the Songun idea of President Kim Il Sung in keeping with the present reality.

Thanks to the Songun politics the WPK could frustrate every move of the imperialist allied forces and triumphantly advance the socialist cause.

The bulletin entitled "Songun Politics and Korean-style Socialism" stressed that Songun is the secret whereby Korean socialism has won only victory and glory.

The Songun politics is an almighty treasured sword which helped the Korean people to win in the confrontation with the imperialists and a strong weapon for building a great prosperous and powerful nation, it said, adding:

Korean-style socialism will always emerge victorious under the Songun politics.
