Pyongyang August 25 (KCNA) -- The Russian Nakhodka Format Publishing House brought out in booklet General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work "Let Us Reunify the Country Independently and Peacefully through the Great Unity of the Entire Nation" on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Korea's liberation.
The work, published on April 18, Juche 87(1998), clarifies the five-point policy for great national unity which would serve as important guidelines for achieving the great unity of the whole nation. This policy laid down in the work calls for achieving great national unity strictly on the principle of national independence, uniting under the banner of patriotism and national reunification, improving the inter-Korean relations, struggling against outside forces and traitors to the nation in league with them, developing dialogue, letting all Koreans visit each other and boost solidarity and alliance, etc.
