The book shows the indomitable struggle and creative ingenuity of the Korean nation who beat back foreign invaders and created a brilliant culture to greatly enrich the treasure-house of the human culture.

It amends and supplements some parts of the history on the basis of successes made in research into the primitive and ancient history and departmental histories after the Mausoleum of King Tangun was discovered in Juche 82 (1993).
