The bulletin carried a photo of General Secretary Kim Jong Il and an article under the title of "The invincible bulwark of socialism".

The article said:

The steadfast guiding idea is the first factor that has made it possible for the DPRK to become an invincible socialist bulwark.

From the very day of its foundation the DPRK has pushed ahead with the socialist cause, guided by the Juche idea, the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung, founding-father.

The Songun idea serves as the main guarantee for the victory of the socialist cause in the DPRK as it calls for placing the military affairs above anything else and putting forward the army as the main force in accomplishing the cause of socialism.

The second factor is the tremendous national strength.

In the DPRK the unity and cohesion of all the people in thought and purpose have been maintained steadfastly on the basis of the Juche idea, the Songun idea founded by Kim Il Sung and developed in depth by Kim Jong Il.

The rock-firm mass foundation is the third factor that has made it possible for the DPRK to display its dignity as the indestructible socialist fortress.

The Korean people are now working new innovations and feats with each passing day to open the gate to a great prosperous and powerful nation in 2012 marking the centenary of birth of the President, father of socialist Korea, true to the plan and will of Kim Jong Il, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission.

The DPRK will always demonstrate its dignity as the invincible socialist bulwark.
