Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- A seminar was held in France, a reading session in Guinea and a film show took place in South Africa from Aug. 18 to 24 on the occasion of the 61st birthday of the DPRK. Jean Marie Lambret, chief of the French Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, said at the seminar that the more than six decade-long history of the DPRK is a glorious history in which it demonstrated the invincibility of the socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence, to the whole world under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il. Abdoulaye Diallo, chairman of the Guinean Society for the Study of the Juche Literary Idea, at the reading session titled "The DPRK Winning Victory Thanks to Songun" noted that the history of the DPRK proves that the dignity and honor of the nation are guaranteed by Songun. The chairperson of the Mahlambandlophy, Pretoria City, Branch of the African National Congress of South Africa, after watching a Korean film dealing with the feats performed by the peerlessly great persons, expressed the conviction that the Korean people are sure to triumph in their drive to build a great prosperous and powerful nation. A message of greetings to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the seminar held in France. |
