Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- The 4th National Martial Arts Championship for September 10 Prize opened with due ceremony at the Taekwon-Do Hall Wednesday.
Players from provincial Taekwon-Do teams and more than 10 units including the Sunchon Cement Complex Taekwon-Do team will compete in events of Taekwon-Do, paduk and Korean wrestling.
Present at the ceremony were Minister of Urban Management Hwang Hak Won, chairman of the Taekwon-Do Association of the DPRK, and officials concerned, players and youth and students.
Hwang Pong Yong, chairman of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, addressed the ceremony.
