Kim Jong Il Provides Field Guidance to Work in Various Fields in Counties

Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il provided field guidance to the work in various fields in Kyongsong and Myongchon Counties. He went round the Kyongsong Revolutionary Museum and the Yombunjin Revolutionary Site associated with immortal revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung. Saying that the education through revolutionary sites is of weighty importance in arming the members of the WPK and other working people with its revolutionary idea, he indicated tasks and ways to do so. Then he provided field guidance to the Kyongsong Insulator Factory. He visited the monuments to the on-the-spot instructions and field guidance given by the President before making rounds of different places including Insulator Shop No. 2 to learn in detail about technical updating and production there. He provided field guidance to the Kim Jong Suk Sanatorium. After being briefed on hot-spring in Kyongsong, he looked round the interior of the sanatorium to acquaint himself in detail with its medical facilities and treatment. Hot-spring in Kyongsong is good for the treatment of diverse diseases as it contains highly efficacious medical substance, he said, underscoring the need to spruce up the sanatorium and improve its management and operation so as that the Korean people may fully benefit from free medical care. Then, he looked round dwelling houses newly built by the county around the sanatorium. He visited the family of ex-officer Ju Kwang Su who works as doctor at the sanatorium to give a warm pep talk to him and his family. He went round the Mt. Chilbo Recreation Ground. He covered a long tourist course of inner, outer and sea Chilbo to acquaint himself in detail with the construction of the recreation ground. Underlining the need to provide ample conditions for an increasing number of visitors to fully enjoy the spectacular scenery of Mt. Chilbo and have pleasant recreation, he specified orientation and ways to do so. He visited the newly built Hwangjin hot-spring village. Making rounds of the general public service centre equipped with all public service facilities and the family of Won Ki Chol, a farmer, he wished the farmers living in the modern houses a happy future. Saying that it is necessary to let people make a wide use of hot-spring in Hwangjin as it is one very good for people's health, he set forth tasks to be fulfilled to do so. The world-startling miracles and signal achievements are now being reported from every place of the country and its wealth is on the daily increase at present when the march of the revolution is resounding forth loudly, he noted, adding that these great changes unprecedented in history are the precious fruition of the inexhaustible mental power and noble patriotism which inspired the Korean people to display the "do-or-die" spirit to build a great prosperous and powerful nation by their own efforts without fail. He expressed great expectation and conviction that the working people in Kyongsong and Myongchon Counties would continue creditably playing a vanguard role in the gigantic drive for building a thriving nation. He was accompanied by Hong Sok Hyong, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK, Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, and other leading officials of the C.C., the WPK. |
