Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- Scientists in the Information Center under Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry have developed a dress design aid system which will ensure the scientific accuracy and quality of clothing design on the highest level.
All the processes are computerized from the input of data to dress pattern design, pattern arrangement, check-up and amendment, with the result that the time and manpower needed for technical preparation have been reduced by half and proper designing can be made.
Having optimized designing indexes according to body models and sizes, it can conduct a dress-wearing simulation and thus cut down the consumption of materials to the minimum and remarkably raise productivity and quality of goods.
The system has been introduced at various clothing factories in Pyongyang including the Aeguk Moran Clothing Factory and Aeguk Choe Jong Rak Clothing Factory to pay off profusely.
It was highly appreciated at the Pyongyang exhibition of scientific and technological successes of youth held some time ago.
