Pyongyang, September 4 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Friday met and had a talk with the Cuban government delegation led by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla who paid a courtesy call on him at the Mansudae Assembly Hall.
The head of the delegation recalled that President Kim Il Sung paid deep attention to developing the friendly relations between the two countries.
The Cuban people are greatly encouraged by the achievements made by the Korean people in their drive to fling open the gate to a great prosperous and powerful nation in 2012 marking the centenary of birth of the President, he said.
Expressing the conviction that the party and people of the DPRK would continue to win only victories under the wise guidance of General Secretary Kim Jong Il, he stressed that the Cuban people would always stand by the Korean people.
