Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The workers' art squad of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea gave its performance at the Central Hall of Workers Monday on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Put on the stage were colorful numbers dealing with the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and the signal progress made by the DPRK.
In chorus "Fly Our Tricolor National Flag of the Republic", female duet and pangchang "We Sing of Our Motherland Holding the Leader in High Esteem" and other numbers the performers enthusiastically sang of boundless gratitude to the President who founded the DPRK in which the people have become its master, providing them with a genuine life and happiness.
Also put on the stage were male solo "General on a Galloping White Horse", serial song "The Blue Sky over My Country", short play "The Place Where We Are Obliged to Stand", chorus "Believe Tomorrow" and others.
Among the audience were Kim Jung Rin, secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, and Kim Pyong Phal, chairman of the C.C., the GFTUK.
